There is an online tree that only shows one female of the marriage.  So the 4 year old child in Jan 1937 ie born 1932 would have been Mervyn Robert?

It would appear from her death notice that Mervyn may possibly have been known as BELL at some stage of his life.

The West Australian Mon 23 Aug 1943

DEATHS

BAKER August 21 1943 at Perth Hospital, Eileen Agnes of 43 Lord-street East Perth. dearly beloved wife of William George (late of Norseman) (ex Naval Dockyard Police): loving mother of Mervyn and Merle Bell: loved daughter of Mrs Quinlan (Perth): fond sister of Mary (Mrs H.Wallington). Bridget (Sister M. Eymard). Margaret (Mrs C. Manning). Ronnie (Mrs G. Lemmon), Gordon. Ted, Bub, sister-in-law of Harry, Charlie and George; loving aunt of Patsy, Frank, Harry, Colin, Peter, Margaret and Robert; aged 34 years.
Sadly missed by all.

In my experience, a good way to avoid getting information you have already is to make clear at the very beginning exactly what you have.  You can also post links to previous enquiries you have made on this or other forums. Saying you want information about a person and then saying you have it already when it is provided may lead to frustration on all sides ::)

Your statement about the murder remains confusing.

Where did you get that information.

One man named STILLITANO was charged with murder in 1956 in WA. The name of the victim was Archangelo MACRI.

There was a lot in the papers at the time

If there is any more information on Mervyn Robert Quinlan. I would be interested in reading as I am is grandaughter. My mother would like to find out about her father as she was really young when he was murdered and does not know about this family.  Any information your be appreciated.  Please and thank you.
