Hi Dathai,
I may have given the wrong information in regards to Michael Leech and the birth cert for synott place. what I do now for definite is that when he was young my grandfather Michael leech lived in chapelizod. the house was on the left hand side just before you cross the bridge heading to the Mullingar house pub.
The Timothy leech that you spoke about was his brother and that the mother remarried to Patrick marrey. In the census you will see that they had a son named Patrick  and that he was 1 year of age. That Patrick went on to have a daughter Mary to whom I have a picture of when we went on holidays a long time ago.
Regards,
Robert Sweeney.

Hi Robert
do you have a copy of Timothy Leech's marriage to Maria Hamilton in 1883 for fathers name, what concerns me is that i may have in error recorded his father as William Leech where i think it may be Michael ?

as you now know Christopher father of the Timothy born 1885 in Synott Place was son of Michael and Anne

John Leech son of Michael with Timothy as witness

and a birth of Timothy Leech July 31st 1852 to Michael and Anne Stacey on Castlejordan NLI film more siblings on there as well the two above

I was in Dublin G R O today and my curiosity got the better of me so i purchased a research copy of Michael Leetch's birth record 1884

South Dublin ,Palmerstown
30 th March 1884, Michael son of Timothy Leetch a Gardiner,Lower Palmerstown, mother Mary Leetch formerly Hamilton
informant Timothy Leetch,Lower Palmerstown 5th April 1884.Robert Andrew,Registrar

so the baptism 1884 is mistranscribed
