John James Thompson was your great grand father and you live on the same farm where your great grand father  was born on and died. Surely you're in a great position to look up local newspapers, g/yards etc for yourself??

Yes but is Robert Wilson and Mary crozier iam looking for only found a marriage record in 1846 but trying to find a death record for them some time between 1870 to 1900.

Well, have you checked the online civil registration index (www.familysearch.org) for possible deaths to narrow down the dates?
