Ok, so the PDF has just arrived:

George John Tooley died 30 June 1919
male 63 (so ties in with DOB 1856)
Occupation: Chatsworth, Belgrove, Welling, Kent, Clerk - not sure whether the address is place of work or his residence, but my George Tooley he has been listed as a clerk on various census records
Cause of Death: 1. Senile Arterial Sclerosis 2. Senile Gangrene of leg no PM (post mortem?)
Informant: RG Harkness, Superintendent Bermondsey Infirmary, Rotherhithe


I have one step daughter living in Hornsey at this time and the other either in Hornsey or Enfield.

So, still no confirmation one way or the other - back to the drawing board
