 I'm stuck on my family tree regarding  Leah Owen . Leah Owen had a sister called violet Owen she married john h powell in 1937 in Birmingham   . can you help

The only one I can find is Violet May Owen born 4.5.1907 @ Yiewsley & Died 17.10.1996

The marriage cert would give Violet's (and Leah's) father's name.

Looking at your previous posts, Leah's maiden name appears to be BIGGS, not OWEN - or am I missing something?

She seems to be the daughter of David and Alice and has a brother Cifford.  Not looking like the right birth.


But just looked at your previous posts that Rambler referred to. I see Leah was born about 1880. Quite a gap if she sister to the Violet who died 1968 and was born 1905!

 on violet i owen she was born in walsall in 1911 mother last name was hayes . violet i  owen married in birmingham 1937 to john h powell . i would like to find out a little more about this family i cant seem to find out when they died i even looked in 1939  census  i hope you can help thanks
