Hi his mother was Sarah Dexta, I know he died in the war but didn't know he had family

Yes Horace married Beatrice Lewis in 1916, and had 1 son Keith in 1916 (my grandad), do you know what relation he is to you?

Yes a very small world, where in the UK are you ?
I don't think my nan knew of any people alive on her side of the family so I have been finding that side of the family hard to research
