Sundry thoughts:
- a favourite ploy of illegitimate people getting married who wished to hide their illegitimacy was to invent a father's name and say he was deceased
- illegitimate children often had a middle name of the father's surname, so rather than Mason being William's mother's maiden name, it could be his father's surname
- there were other Wrights in London with the middle name Mason: Francis b 1831 Greenwich; George b 1854 at Tottenham. Might be coincidence, might be a connection. You can't tell which until you research them.
- why did William and Hannah apparently give three of their children the middle name of Warman? Was this on Hannah's side or William's?
