His Medal card is available on Ancestry - No other service record showing there but I understand that FindMyPast.UK may have more service records. However a lot of WW1 records were lost in the Blitz. Can you send ma a PM.

No service records for him on FindMyPast. Just the standard information for a soldier who was killed:

Patrick James Lennon, 2nd Battalion Royal Irish Rifles, No. 7412, enlisted Cavan.

You haven't given any indication of his age but if he was born in Donegal then this might be him- only Patrick Lennon born Donegal-

Just checked 1901 census and that one is Patrick Joseph Lennon-

Hi Folks,
the Patrick James Lennon I'm connected shows up in the LDS site as having no fixed aboade, it also shows a prison record for him, born 1881 born Glenties
I have my Grans birth cert 1904 and he  Patrick James is down as a tramp,
may have been from the travelling community or not?
Know he had a sister Mary who was supposed to have been married to a Mc Keown and reared my G Aunt in Ramelton Donegal when Patrick was killed in the war,

Any advice for me??
thanks Cathal
