I have a copy of the Marriage "Cert"of my 4th GreatGrand Parents, dated 9th April 1842.Married at the Parish Church, in the Parish of St Mary Pembroke.Their names being:
  William John...full age...Bach...Dock...Joiner...Father,..Thomas John....Joiner.
  Elizabeth ------..full age..Spin...Dock..---- ...Father..James---- (Sawyer ? ).
  Can't decipher Brides Maiden Name,and Fathers, occupation.
  Most grateful if anyone can help.

What is his surname? Can you find the marriage in freebmd?
If not you will have to post the parts that you cant read (you will anyway for the occupation) if you want us to try and decipher them!

Hi if he is the Willam John aged 34 occ Joiner PD yd with wife Elizabeth 33 and children James 8 William Thos 6 Mary Ann 3 and Thomas 1 then they are with a James Rees aged 58 occ Sawyer in 1851 Census ref HO107/2476/435/60 shown as Son in Law

In 1841 William 20 occ Joiner  Father Thomas occ Joiner and family are a few doors away from Elizabeth 20 with Father now as Thomas Rees 50 occ Sawyer and family in same street as 1851 Brewery Street North, St Mary, Pembrokeshire

Many thanks Keyboards,Mary Anne was my 3x Great Grandmother,her Mothers maiden name I now know was Rees.

From my transcription parish registers of Pembroke St Mary 1711 to 1050’s. There are 5 William Johns married at St Mary during the period 1840 to 1845. The one you appertain to is as follows
09 Apr 1842 William John of Full aged a bach and joiner of the Dock the son of Thomas John a Joiner married Elizabeth Reese of full age a spinster of the Dock the daughter of James Reese a Sawyer by banns in front of W. Bowling. William signed his name and Elizabeth made her mark in the presence of Wm Lifton and George Froyne
(Note George Froyne was Parish Clerk at this time)
