Burial ground, Kilton Lane, Brotton
« on: Monday 01 September 14 21:59 BST (UK) »
I believe my 5 times grandfather Thomas Watson was buried at Kilton Lane burial ground, Brotton in 1823, can anyone advise if any headstone is still there or know where I can find if there was a monument inscription.

I know Thomas was a Tailor by trade, his wife's name was Mary and his children Michael(also a Tailor),Andrew and Mary were born in Brotton and baptised at St Margaret's church. Any other information on the family would be appreciated.

 thanks in advance

Does anyone know if any gravestones still exist with the name Goldby?  My maternal grandmother's maiden name was Goldby and she was born at Sykes Farm in Carlin How in 1913.  From a recent FindMyPast release, I've discovered that her parents and a number of other relatives were buried in Brotton between 1873 and 1962.
Thank you in advance!
