The surname spelling of my 2nd great grandmother gleaned from death certificate info is either Marher or Marhir. She was born circa 1830 in Ireland and married Joseph Moran from Ireland in Albany, NY around 1864. She died in Chicago on Dec 27. 1898. From her obit...Moran, Sarah, Dec. 27, 1898, mother of James, and Mrs. Sarah Sullivan, native of Cappaghwhite, Co. Tipperary. Funeral from resid., 2410 Railroad ave., North Evanston to Calvary. Albany (NY) papers please copy. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
