Hi Debbie

I could be WAY off here but I am still concerned re your research.

Do you have an ACTUAL marriage cert for Mary Anne that says her father's name was Peter ?

Do you have ACTUAL information that says that she was FROM Mullingar, Westmeath PRIOR to looking for a birth / baptism in Ireland ?

It's just that you have phrased most of your answers with 'I came across' OR 'I Think' ~ 2 phrases that I worry about hearing someone saying in regards to their family tree.

I'm just hoping that you haven't 'by chance' run with the first Mary Hayden that you found on ancestry.

As I say, I could be WAY off and I could be reading your messages incorrectly  :)

Tara

Just having another read of this thread and I have to agree with Tara, you need the marriage cert to make sure you are following the correct woman.

Hi all,

I can confirm that Debbie is on the right track, as Mary Anne Frances Hayden (Barrett) was my great aunt, and I can recollect visiting her at Winterton, Lincolnshire.

I also have more information on the family, through my own research.
