Tracing of Stammers family
« Reply #3 on: Monday 08 September 14 07:54 BST (UK) »
Trying to trace the Stammers family who lived in Port Elizabeth South Africa in 1967 but i really don't know where to start as the only name i have to start with is Sandra Lynn Stammers which would have been the maiden name and she was born on 25 August 1947 or 1949. But where i don't know all i know is she was in SA in 1967.

Would you like me to see if there are any entries in the Telephone for Stammers in the PE area?  Perhaps she had male siblings?

Regards
Patricia

May I suggest you read the Beginners Guide to SA Research at Mole's Genealogy Blog. Direct link is:
molegenealogy.blogspot.co.za/p/beginners-guide-to-south-african.html

The blog also offers a search facility, numerous lists taken from authoritative sources, and articles on many aspects on the topic of SA ancestry research. There is a comment form if you have queries or feedback.

Best Wishes,
Mole

An excellent resource, full of information.  I go onto it often and often find an hour or more has passed with me reading something that has caught my eye.  A must do for those doing South African research..... ;) ;) :D
