Isabella Francis,Wife of Willian Lyndon Francis 1811-1866

Help in tracing marriage details of Isabella ? and Willian Lyndon Francis.He was from Jersey and a ships surgeon and their first child was born in Jersey in 1835.

From the 1841 census in Chelsea,Middlesex it states she was of foreign parts and born in 1806,However from her actual death certificate 4th January 1850 Bethnal Green,Middlesex it states her age at death as being 34 which makes her birth being nearer 1816.

Need to find her marriage details - when and when ?

Plus need to know what her surname was? And from which foreign part did she come from ? plus then of course her lineage.

This is a big gap in our family so would appreciate all help please  :)(Unable to travel personally to Channel Isles to look up or trace)

William Lyndon Francis married isabella Laing on 29th May, 1834 in St Helier. As this was before civil registration and St Helier records are usually sorely lacking in detail you are lucky that the register adds that she was the daughter of James (Calcutta).
Their child, William Guest Laing Francis was baptized in St Helier on 26th April 1835.

 Thank you so much for information re Isabella,her marriage to Lyndon and her parentage. Presume that she was not of Indian origin with her parents surnames so will check them out if possible.

We had hopes that we might have had some romantic,exotic lady in our lineage that Lyndon might have met on his travels but am so happy to know who she is at last.

Hopefully we can now find out a bit more about Willian as well from my other post.
