Thomas Peatman
« on: Monday 15 September 14 11:33 BST (UK) »
Tom was born circa 1864/5 at Grantham Lincs to William Peatman and Elizabeth Page. I can find no trace in any census, IGI parish records etc. I want to trace him as I have his fathers journal started in 1882. Strange this journal mentions Tom once or twice, and mentions Lizzie his wife, but no reference to the birth of his son. The journal ends in 1886. Any help appreciated.

I can't see any births for that name in the 1860's for Lincolnshire  :-\

You say he is mentioned "once or twice" can I ask in what way is he mentioned?

Don't suppose it could be 1875 could it only there is a Thomas son of William & Elizabeth in 1891 age 16.

Do you know anything about his father, occupation etc?  This William is a coal merchants foreman.
Thomas is a County Court clerk.

Marriage Mar 1881 Grantham with William Peatman Elizabeth Page a possible pairing.
I am making things worse here aren't I  :-\

Thomas may have been born to Elizabeth before they married and is registered under Page?  But I tried that too for c1865 and nothing.

That's the only marriage I could see also for William and Elizabeth Page  ???

Have you looked on Lincs to the Past? http://www.lincstothepast.com/SearchResults.aspx?cmd=type&val=img

No will do so now
This was brilliant although, I haven't found Thomas, this site has an earlier journal by William, his father, and I think I'll donate it to Lincs Archives
