Ann's baptism says mother is Timothy too. Maybe need to see what her death cert may say :-\

Have found a baptism for a Thomason Cartlidge on 6th November 1737, Burslem, St John. Parents are Stephen and Thomason Cartlidge.

Just looked at another Free Reg entry for the same parish in the timeframe and the same thing

in 1706  Church St Peter Ad Vincula ( same as above)

So it looks to me like the wife's maiden name was not  recorded and just listed in her new married name.

Hi,
    Original paget died 11 October 1877 as Reginald Pagett on death certificate in Wolverhampton. Witness was Sarah Duffield (daughter).
