Help finding any information on my 3rd great grandpa. (WILLIAM GRAHAM)
« on: Sunday 21 September 14 19:33 BST (UK) »
Hit a brick wall trying to find any information on my 3rd great grandpa william graham:

William Graham born in 1833, County Monaghan.
Married in 1853 to a lady from county Leitrim (name unknown), just before he joined the RIC August 1853.

Tried searching national archives but they couldn't find any information on him.

The only definitive information on him is as follows:

Quote
17424    GRAHAM, Wm           20   15-Aug   Monaghan               P      S; 18/12/'68          Leitrim          Lab           Leitrim; Sligo 10/4/'69.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or has any information I would be most greatful.

David

Hi David and Welcome

I take it that William and this unknown lady had children !

Were these children born in Ireland ?

Have you tried to trace any baptismal records for the children ?

Also, what is that reference for William from ?

So, did Joseph stay in Ireland ?

Do you have him on a census ?

Please give us as much info as possible as all leads may help !

Well you've William and then Joseph...what else have you got??  Religion?? Other siblings of either? a WIFE for Joseph??

Why hide stuff from people trying to help??
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.
