Been having a look again at the Hunters ,and the Info supplied by the posters on here was amazing. After looking at the 1901 census for Andrew it states living at a House  no 27  Rashee ,Ballynashee . Would that be a number of a house on a road or 1911 census Margaret is with her son Robert at  House no 39 Ballynashee  , . Just curious as i saw the programme WDYTYA with Mark Gatiss and his journey back to an old Farmstead. Cheers Raymie.

If you look at Additional pages 2 you will see 39 is the form number, the house doesn't have a number.

Most houses in small towns and rural areas in Ireland do/did not have numbers.

It was only around 1970 that we got road names in most rural areas  ;)

You can search the Valuation Revision Books (online, free) to follow a property from the printed version of Griffith's Valuation (mid 1800s) until c1930 for Northern Ireland counties here-
