I would say fairly early WW1. I doubt that there would be so many women working in that factory prior to the War. Later in the war hopefully they would be dressed more appropriately. Probably somewhere fairly close to the photographic studio of  J. Bambridge. 197 High Street, (or his home), as he has to get to the site of the factory.

Hi,
Strangely enough I have a similar photograph! It is of my great grandfather on a card back, also embossed with J. Bambridge in Cursive font. It says underneath 197. High Street . GATESHEAD.
But Unfortunately I can't find anything out about the photographer! I would also like help!

Could the "m" of Bambridge be "in" making the surname BAINBRIDGE-a northeastern surname?

In Kelly's Directory of Durham, 1914, Jas. Bambridge, Photographer, is at 197 High Street, Gateshead
