Where is Peter Griffiths on the 1891 census?
« on: Saturday 27 September 14 23:14 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

I can't seem to find
Peter Griffiths who was born in 1844 in St.Issells, Pembrokeshire

He married Mary Watkins from Haverfordwest
and it seems he baptised his children all at one stage which is Peculiar..

he has died by 1901 as Mary is listed as widow but he is alive in 1891 as she is listed as married...

I have Peter on the 1861 census aged 17 living in Llanelly as a lodger and engine fitter

1871 Mary is living with Peters parents and the children but there is no Peter...oh and that is in Llansamlet

1881+1891 Mary is back in Haverfordwest with children but no Peter...

So I wonder where peter is on the 1891 census and even the 1871 or 1881?

I do hope I have the right guy here now lol
 cheers

That's what I was thinking.  It would explain his absence on the censuses
