Buntings/Buntinges of Wirksworth.
« on: Tuesday 30 September 14 16:01 BST (UK) »
Hi

I am trying to discover information on the family of Thomas Bunting/e who married Ann Spayton/Spauton/Spawton in Wirksworth Jan 13 1687.

I believe Ann was the daughter of Richard, and her bap is given as Dec 8 1664 in Wirksworth. No info on Richard or his spouse.

Thomas however is more difficult. I'm assuming that he was local and have found the following baptism's in Wirksworth.

Bunting Thomas

Oct 12 1643 - Father Thomas
Feb 11 1645 - Father Thomas
Apr 24 1653 - Father Thomas

Buntinge Thomas

Jan 26 1653 - Father Thomas
Apr 5 1663 - Father Thomas

Deaths - Bunting Thomas, Wirksworth

Feb 26 1645 Father Thomas
Feb 3 1655 Father Thomas
Dec 27 1679 Father not listed
Oct 27 1680 Father not listed

I can find no info re ages etc for these deaths so have no way of knowing who is who.

Thank you.

Mark.

I've just come across a death entry for a Maria Spawton in Wirksworth Jan 21 1689. Spouse given as Richard.
