A John Bigland had 2 daughters  christened at Bowness (Windermere ) anne in 1787 and betty (Elizabeth ) in 1788 doe's  anyone know who their mother was and where John was from and any details about him

I've been doing some work on John Ware of Whitehaven printer and he has on 5 occations a George Bigland trading with him between 1800 and 1802 one of the entries gives Bigland Hall as an entry

I know its not John but it may lead to a Parish
