David Price/ Mary Jane Doyle (Born Llangoed Breconshire 1857)

Looking for information on the whereabouts of the above couple  after 1881. They married in 1874 (Brecon?) Breconshire Vol 11b page 141. Mary Jane  Doyle (Price) was living with her widowed mother ,Mary Doyle on the 1881  Brecon census, she is listed as married but her husband is not listed help needed to locate him , .....

What was David's occupation on the marriage cert - was he a mariner perhaps?

Hi thanks for your message, I don't have any other details on David Price, other than what I have listed. the problem is there are a lot of Prices in Breconshire and I have no details at all on David Price, he may have been working on a farm or on the railways (maybe)?

Mary is only 23yrs old in 1881 and it seems a bit strange that she had been married for 7yrs at that time without any children.  She would have been about 16yrs old when she married

The 1871 has her incorrectly transcribed as Dayle and she is 13yrs old.  Father was Patrick b Newtown Barry Ireland occ maltster

Hi again our messages crossed, yes that's the right family, Patrick died in 1877 and is buried in Brecon .

I think you will find her in 1891 with husband David - here's the reference
