Frederick Thomas Tubb, son of Frederick and Elizabeth
« on: Thursday 09 October 14 17:02 BST (UK) »
Hello

This is the birth record of Frederick Thomas Tubb, born in 1860, Kidderminster

Births Jun 1860   (>99%)
TUBB    Frederick Thomas        Kidderminster    6c   257

This is Frederick and his family in 1881 in Aston. He is listed as Frank

Head   Fredrick Tubbs   41
Wife   Elizth Tubbs   43
Son   Frank Tubbs   20
Daughter   Sarah Tubbs   18
Son   Alfred Tubbs   13
Son   Annie Tubbs   10

Any help in finding him after 1881 in the census, a marriage, children etc would be appreciated. The main problem comes from the variations in which his name has been spelt and after looking through free bmd and family search, I am having not much success

thanks

Just to clarify - Frank aged 20 years (above)  is listed as Frederick on the 1881.

There is a marriage for a Frederick Tubbs - June 1886 - Birmingham - 6d 149
If it is the correct Frederick -  looks like he would marry Martha Fowler.
Joseph James Whale married Clara Gray. Joseph is widowed in 1901 and Clara Whale died at Dudley 1898 6c 183.

Probably a better marriage Frederick Thomas Tubes - Q4 1890 - Aston Warwickshire to Elizabeth Court - 6d 458 (2 nd November 1890)

Aston Manor Warwickshire 1891 - RG12 Piece 2429 Folio 97 Page 37

Fred K Tubes  30 (Think the K is at the end of Fredk - not an initial) Jeweller Gold and Silver.
Elizabeth Tubes  24
Bertha Court  14

Sandra

Interesting Bertha Court married Albert Alfred Tubbs Dec 1901 - Birmingham - 6 d 246.
Marriage 10 May 1901 Hockley, St Saviour, Warwickshire. Frederick and Elizabeth Tubbe were witnesses.
Alfred and Bertha lived 29 Defford Road.

thanks sandra

I understand that it must be confusing in finding records. The Tubbs had a knack for changing the spelling of their surname to sometimes odd degrees, Tubbs has sometimes become Tubes.
