*COMPLETED* Newspaper Lookup
« on: Friday 10 October 14 13:29 BST (UK) »
Hello -
I have a special request to make of members who have easy access to copies of the Newcastle Evening Chronicle. There is a death/funeral for isabella WOOF, aged 4.  Hirst,   published in this paper on 20 March 1905. I cannot visit the library myself as I live in Australia. I cannot find this paper on Find My Past. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Newspaper Lookup

My apologies - yeseterday I requested a newspaper lookup (Newcastle Evening Chornicle) for a death notice saying I couldn't find it on FindMyPast. It appears there if you look at BY Newspaper first, but if you put in the person's name and set the date, then filter by newspaper, it isn't there anymore to select! I have contacted FindMyPast for an explanation, so please disregard the request I made yesterday.

Don't apologise - little website quirks like that are good to know  :)

I looked, to see if I could replicate the problem.

As far as I can see the database doesn't have any editions of the Newcastle Evening Chronicle for 1905.
The database is the same one as The British Newspaper Archive and the listing on there says the only editions of this newspaper currently in the database are from 1915.
