where was she born ? who did she marry ? Who were her family ? ,

     Have you tried Scotlands People for her birth  ?

  Do you have a death cert. for her ? How do you know she died in 1918 in Gloucester ?
The more info. you give us it makes it a bit easier to try and help you

Sorry Midlad,
all I have is a newspaper report of her death aged 31 .
It may prove  to be that she was married to a Welshman called Evan Richards
but that is by no means certain.

Yes thats my post. I am trying to find out about her life etc in Scotland. I know nothing about this lady and could do with some help. I'm on Ancestry and they have next to nothing by way of help with Scotland and I don't want to start another subscription just for one person. If anyone can come to my assistance I will be very grateful.

There isn't a subscription to the Scotland's People site - It is pay to view.  It doesn't cost anything to log in and search.   

Doing a free search there is a marriage  between Evan Richards and Jeanie Mcnair McMillan in 1912 - edit in Glasgow City

Hi,
   I have read your previous post if you go to Scotlands People and download the marriage cert as someone as suggested you will find Jean's parents  and whether they are deceased or not and father's occupation and mothers maiden name.

Scotlands People is a very reasonable pay as you view site £7;00 for 30 credits it will cost you 6 certs to view and download each cert. it is a very easy site to use.
