When did Francis STEWARD come to Australia

Thanks for your reply Marg,  always possible, I shall try to find out more about it.  Although he never worked as an engine driver that I know of.  He was a carrier in 1861 in the UK and in Australia  whilst he worked for the railways until he retired he was only ever listed as a labourer.

PS.  Yes, you have the right household on the 1851 census.  I have all the details of other family members, Francis was the last to find.  It was a great surprise to find him over here.  P.
