McDermid /McDiarmid /McLaren from Morvern and Appin areas

Looking for anyone who might have some additional info to mine on the McDermid/McDIARMID family from Appin who later moved to Glasgow then Bonhill also looking for any info on Lachlan McLaren and or Catherine McLaren from Morvern ~ They had a daughter Christina who later became a McDermid /McDiarmid .Thanks Anne

Hi , I have some dates here from the 1851 census .Lachlan McLaren is head aged 47 or 42 ,his wife is Catherine aged 46 . They have 4 children May 22 ,Hugh 20 ,Lauchlan 10 ,Christy 7 .Christy or Christina is my great great grandmother . Children Hugh ,Lachlan and Christy were all born Morvern .Lachlan snr and his wife Catherine and first born May were all born Appin . Any info on this branch of the McLarens would be amazing to me .I am unsure if greatgrandmother x3 Catherine had the maiden name of McMillian or MacDonald ? .Any help there would be lovely . I know my great great grandmother Christina married an Archibald McDiermid/McDermid who hailed from Appin .They moved to Bonhill and had a son named Hugh who married  Margaret Doyle , they became the parents of my gran Christina (Chrissy) ,Chrissy married a Andrew (Andy) Connelly in 1923 and they became the parents to my Dad Hugh b.1943 ~ my middle name is Christina :-)
