Haven't a clue who you're looking for as you won't give names so have just looked at some Carney bits.

Was he a Carney?  Son of Who?? etc is what you need to post in order for someone to help.

All we know is your looking for Carneys!

Hi There,

So from what I've read your father (who you haven't named) was the step son of Francis Murphy who sent him to live with the Carney's in 1924ish after his mother passed away.

You have found the information on the census of them and now are trying to find a connection or more information on them.

In order to help you with the connection can you please supply the information on Francis Murphy. When he was born, married, died etc and where.

Also are you sure that the family you have in 1911 are the Carney's your father lived with?
Cheers,
Holly

Yes.. the father (whoever that was!) went to the Murphy's as it APPEARS his mother remarried... well that is what I can make of it.
