further down the page he is still in wolverley in 1841 so looks like we can rule him out, but he may be the marriage in clent, not too far away so that could be useful.

Mary Highley spr, ots - by banns
witness: Sarah Boucher, Sarah Boucher

Hi Fiona

That has got to be a mis transcription for Abberley as even though there are a lot of parishes in WOR ending ley none of them comes close to a match for what was given on the IGI except Abberley.  As for your ancestor being born at Elmley Lovett if you have any Maiden's in your tree I bet they are also on mine

Thanks for that info, if you don’t mind I’m going to copy it onto another thread about Bouchers of Wolverley.  I’m still trying to prove which of the marriages is my Daniel Boucher but over the last few weeks unfortunately family illness has severely stopped play – hope to be back soon!

And Phil, I’ll keep an eye out and will let you know if I hit upon a Maiden.
