I'm looking for information on Kathrine Roy head of nursing  in world war 1  can anyone help with where from and family members
I think you'll need to tell us a little more than that. You must know something more, otherwise you wouldn't have a reason to ask.

If she was a head of nursing in the First World War, she would presumably have to have been aged say abut 30 by the start of the war, and no more than about 60 by the end of it. So she had to have been born between about 1860 and about 1890 (I've rounded the dates to the nearest 10 years). The index at Scotland's People tells me that there were 41 C/Kath(a/e)ri/yn(e) Roys or variants born in Scotland between those dates.

Was she a member of the armed forces? Where was she head of nursing? Did she get any awards or decorations?

Why do you think she was specifically connected to Banffshire?
I need to know where she was born to see if related and continue my tree  to see where the rest went and ended up

There are already three messages in this thread telling you that she was born in Drymen in Stirlingshire in 1883.

Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
