Also a Daniel in the Tithe's (Edenbrone Townland, Monaghan Parish) 1826, it's spelled Danl if it's not coming up in a search.  I see the Alex listed with him in Edenbrone.

I hope that's not the grave of the Daniel I'm searching! Definitely too young to be my Patrick's parents as he was born in 1808 and it looks like this Margaret was born in 1821!

Mine were R.C., but from the records I had found they didn't specify what religion they were so I could have been following the Presby. Daniel Smith.  As I mentioned there was another Rev. Daniel Smith who lived in the area, but I think (?) they would have written Rev. on his grave?

You could try searching IGP for Smith, see what shows up.
