Dear all,Elizabeth Morgan(b.1797) married William Thomas on 25/dec/1821 in Machen.Their children were all born in Redbrook,Newland,Gloucestershire(Redbrook is also down as Monmouthshire). The family live in Redbrook in 1841 ad a number of the family live in Machen in 1851.The children were:John Thomas b.1822-1826,William Thomas b.1830 married Harriett Stephen(s) on 7 march 1852 in Machen,Thomas Thomas b.1834 married Elizabeth Rees in 1859 j/a/s Machen,Edward Thomas b.~1836 married Margaret Rees  in 1861o/n/d(Newport mon),Robert Thomas b.~1840,died before 1851,Mary Thomas b.~1825 married Samuel Davey(aka Davies)(father Jacob) on 23/nov/1850 in Machen..,Elizabeth Thomas b.1822-1826 married John Tamplin on 5/march /1840 in Newport(John Tamplin's parents were William Tamplin 1785-1869 and Martha Jones 1788-1861)..,Jane Thomas b.1828-1829 and Ann Thomas b.~1832.It is the last two(Jane and Ann) that we are trying to find what happened to them. They are on the 1851W census both living in Machen but then seem to disappear.I have checked for any marriage between 1851 and 1861 in the Newport reg. but although there were a few possible records I had to rule them out. They may well have emigrated. The other problem is trying to find a William Thomas b.~1798 in Llanelly Carmarthenshire. There is a death of a William Thomas on 3/may/1858 in Machen aged 60.Finally we are unsure what happened to John Thomas b.~1822-1826 in Redbrook,Newland.Any help much appreciated..regards to all Ivorglyn
