OOOHHHH

My Great Great Grandmother was a Scottish Fraser  :o

Ireland DO have a similar site to Scotlands People ~

Our version is called rootsireland

http://www.rootsireland.ie/

It's €25 for a months subscription.

For that you can view 1000 church TRANSCRIPTIONS.

A bit expensive if you only have one record to look up but a bargain if you have LOTS  ;D

I remember a Mrs Clampitt who lived in the Faythe. i think she was the widow of a sailor. This would be in the 1950s. I will try to make some inquiries locally and pass on any info to you.

That would be absolutely great if you could Shellback . Patrick Clampett's wife Johanna died in 1932 but I know that he had a brother who live nearby. His brother was Thomas and I think he is the one mentioned in the Petty sessions in 1917.
We are still at a bit of a dead end with them but hope to find out more when we visit Wexford in the future.
