The 1861 census possibly suggests that Vaniah's mother was a Mary.Given that Daniel is unmarried in the 1851 census,could it be that the marriage Of Danniel(sic) Price or Pryce to a Mary Meredith or Mary Davies in 2nd quarter 1851 is appropriate.If so,I would favour Mary Davies as there is one of approx. the right age in Cwmtoyddwr in 1851( HO107 2494 84 7).I can't find an appropriate marriage to Ann Evans.

Found the marriage   it was  7th June 1872 wife was Ann Evans age 18 from Rhoswen Montgomeryshire fathers name Richard Farmer
Vaniah was 20 a carpenter from Ochr-Deildre ( I don't know where this is?) fathers name Daniel, Farmer.   The surname is spelt as Pryce.

No wonder I couldn't find the marriage,I mis-interpreted the position.I was looking for a marriage to Daniel not Vaniah!
