Pubs in Weymouth 1960s pictures
« on: Saturday 08 November 14 14:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi All,
I run the pub history site, and have received a number of mainly 1960s Devenish pubs to add to the pages. Two I am currently unsure about are the Railway Station Hotel, and also  the 'older' picture I have added as the Kings Arms. There will be about 30 pictures to add in total, and many are named. I just don't recognise some of these when comparing with some of the modern pictures. All suggestions welcome.

Thanks
Kevan
ps I will add a quick Weymouth 1911 census pub crawl later.

I don't see a problem with the Kings Arms in Trinity Road - have you looked at Eric Rickett's wonderful books - Part One of the Buildings of Old Weymouth covers it (page 105/6).  Please pm me if you want to know exactly what he says - but he suggests it's an 18th Century remodelling of an earlier building.
