The Partridge Family
« on: Wednesday 12 November 14 20:50 GMT (UK) »
Looking for a John Partridge Occupation Blacksmith whose daughter Mary Partridge married George Griffiths 1850 St. Clements Worcester.
Mary was born abt 1828 St. Peters Worcester according to later census returns and she was a pipe maker. I cant find a christening for her or any record of John Partridge blacksmith in census.
One of her sons was named John Partridge Griffiths. Her daughter Kate Griffiths b 1860 was my great-grandmother.

Have you got Mary in the 1841 census?  Maybe her father had died before 1841.

Are your sure that her father John was a Blacksmith  ???   I assume this is on her marriage certifcate.   I can see a family in 1841 in Droitwich  that fits, but John is a Basket Maker  :-\
