« on: Thursday 13 November 14 19:47 GMT (UK) »
I have a Daniel Flood b. c 1930,Ross (could come under Oldcastle), his father was Patrick, b.1880, he married unknown Brown,?, Patrick's father was Daniel who married  i think a Margaret Flynn.
I know theres not much but can anyone find further details of this family ?

Are you sure of the dates? if you are correct then Patrick was about 50 years old when his son was born. Any details from Daniel Flood's marriage or death certificates?

Not much to go on but here's one possibility for a Patrick (born c1880) with father Daniel-

Maybe the same family- Daniel Flood married Margaret Flynn- children:

I havr tried Familysearch without success to find marriages from the above,

Daniel Flood b. 1834 , m. 1867, "where?"  Margaret Flynn, b.1838. These details taken from information on 1911 census.
Patrick Flood b.1880, m. 1???, "where?" family info says she was a Brown ?, i have a son Daniel from this marriage b. c 1930, ive posted this on the Meath forum, but the family lives on the borders of Cavan & Westmeath so the marriages could be in those areas . any info welcome.

Bride and groom are listed separately in LDS database- so, do a separate search for the bride (using just 1st name or last name if that's all you know) then cross-reference the results (same date, place, volume & page numbers).

Other sites, such as Ancestry, might have a link to the others on the page so you can try to find the correct match.

I thought that but having trouble cross matching be cause some of the family aren't sure of their g g grandmothers name, will keep trying.
