Britt in Clonmel
« on: Saturday 15 November 14 21:59 GMT (UK) »
I have a marriage for Ellen Britt to Edmond Downey in 1837 at ss Peter and Paul Parish Church, Clonmel. I am pretty sure this is my relative Edward Dorney and would really love to find out about the Britt family. If anyone is researching this family or has any information, please, please let me know.

I'm descended from an Edward Dorney (not the one mentioned) who had family in Clonmel and may have been born there. Similar timeframe.

I'll let you know more Jill once I know you're still active here.

Jill, I checked out some of your other posts and there were some musicians amongst my 19th century Dorney's too. All Cork based though.
