thanks

Quite a lot of info

My Elizabeth Steel, wife of Thomas Noble was born in Stapleton, not Bewcastle, but it was not exact and they are quite close together

Would imagine it is the correct couple - 17 anc trees - probably copied from one to the other.

Marriage 11 June 1777 Bewcastle - Thomas Noble and Elizabeth Steel

The 3 children you quote for Thomas and Elizabeth - Mary in 1787, Jenny in 1792, Elizabeth in 1796 and William in 1778  were all christened Bewcastle.

I think Elizabeth Steel and John Little died in Stapleton

Looking at familysearch, Elizabeth was born in Stapleton, they both married in Stapleton, their first child was born in Stapleton and despite the remaining children being born in Kirklinton, there are no burials for either Elizabeth or John in Kirklinton, but there are three possibilities for John and four for Elizabeth in Stapleton

Elizabeth Noble's final child was born in Lanercost, perhaps she died there too

Also, their son William, born in 1778 Bewcastle died in 1806 aged 28 and was buried in Bewcastle graveyard.

There is a grave and inscription for him, it mentions parents Thomas and Elizabeth, but doesn't give much clues as to their deaths other than the fact they are probably still alive since they are not described as late
