John Richard Jones,Marriage To Hilda.

I have a John Richard Jones born in the Wrexham District of Denbighshire in c 1900 He was to die in the terrible Gresford Colliery Disaster in 1934.Records show that he was living at 6,Mostyn View,Coedpoeth at the time of the Disaster with a wife Hilda and son Eryl Rhyddwyn born 27/10/1926.

I know about this Eryl R as he was to go on to marry my First Cousin Edna Baldwin.What I am unable to find is John Richard's marriage to the Hilda and also the birth of Eryl R.Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.

Hi the birth is odd it is Eryle R Dec qtr 1926 WEXHAM 11b see See S 30 man Griffiths

I was just checking it on the North Wales BMD.  It's a Wrexham Civil marriage.

There is also a birth listed of an Eryl R Griffiths in the December quarter of 1926 I've just found.I also found the 1930 marriage which is given on North Wales BMD as a Wrexham Civil Marriage.

It seems I dropped very lucky with the Hilda Griffiths.She is living in the very same house in 1911 as John Richard Jones is given as living in 1934!
