Even they may not know. I recently discovered two of my Mother's siblings who died at a few days old, no one knew of them. Like you I spotted it from the 1911 census. However I was lucky, as my grandfather had an unusual first name and I was able to find two baptisms that gave parents names and so I was able to add the two lost babies to my tree.

You could take a punt on getting a certificate for one of the suggestions made and see where it leads but entirely your choice

I'm looking for the parents of Patricia D. Newsome (Goodings).  Through a number of searches and process of elimination, I think Edwin Newsome (brn 1896) could be her father.  PeterBroscombe51 - did you come across Patricia in your searches?  Or the wife of Edwin that I could research?

Any enlightenment would be much appreciated.
