Two possibilities are Dawley Bank and Lawley Bank which are certainly in the locality.

Looking at the first letter I would go with Lawley Bank, the National Archives have produced a great tutorial on handwriting, here is the alphabet part - looks like an L might be the right one for your record

thanks for that - looking at google map I'm amazed at how many "pool"s there are in the area - especially when I read a book at a library that stated the surname might mean "the dweller by the pool by the plum trees" - pity I haven't found a "Plum Pool" ;D
