Would there be RC records for Dunany , Louth in early 1800s?
« on: Saturday 06 December 14 17:44 GMT (UK) »
what church/ chapel would someone born in Dunany have been baptized or married? Could it have been Togher?

I know when it gets down to these smaller communities it gets harder to find records.

Thank you,
Bernadette

This Irish Times link shows the R.C. parishes in Louth:

http://www.irishtimes.com/ancestor/browse/counties/rcmaps/louthrc.htm

It looks as if Togher is the parish you want.  If you click on it you will get details of available records and their location although I cannot quite match what it says here with the PRONI Guide to Church Records.
