In reply 6 above you say Walter is his oldest son that is not referring to his son but himself as landowner and head of house although absent from this household the wills calendar says his son Walter died 1896.

You mentioned a house in Killoteran (which is the name of a townland) but that house is in the townland of Butlerstown North (Killoteran D.E.D.) which is why it helps to post a link for us to see.

It should be on the 1911 census here- comparing the 1901 and 1911 households usually makes it possible to make the connection and then you could use the Valuation Revision books or possibly directories to follow the property forward.
