Margaret Forrest Kidd d 28 July 1916   Tubercular Meningitis

Francis Forrest Kidd (40)  Sergeant Royal Corps of Signals d 15th September 1947 found dead in  Drill Hall Blaigowrie - gun shot wound in the chest. (Married to Constance Mary Godman 1936 Portobello) advised by brother George Kidd who died 27 December 1963 at 73 Duddingston Road Portobello. George was married to Margaret Sutherland.

Agnes Allan Kidd (Hospital Nurse) married (Maitland Hotel Edinburgh 1 June 1927)  John Hay Gibson, died 1967 Ayr.



Kidd, John Duff cremated on: 15 October 1966   recorded at:   Seafield Crematorium (Edinburgh) date of death   13 October 1966

Kidd, Francis Forrest cremated on: 19 September 1947   recorded at:   Warriston Crematorium (Edinburgh) date of death   15 September 1947

I found your post while searching for this family.  George Gilbert Kidd and Margaret Forrest were my great grandparents on my mother's side.

I have this photo of the family...



The only child I can identify is my mother's father, George C Kidd, who is on the far left.  Any other names to faces would be fantastic to know.  I am not even sure of the date of the photo?  My guess is early 1920s?

One of their children was James Forrest Kidd, who was killed in action in WWI, 10 days before the end of the war.  I have his "Dead Man's Penny".
