Burials in Croydon
« on: Saturday 13 December 14 18:38 GMT (UK) »
Am looking for the burials of spouses Henry Augustus and Emma ALLEN, presumably in Croydon.
Both were living at 4 Blake Road, Croydon at time of death.
Henry died 23 Jun 1937
Emma died 10 May 1938
All and any tips appreciated.

The best thing is to email Croydon Bereavement services who may be able to help you. As you have the dates they died that should make it easier. I found them very helpful as not only were they able to tell me where my grandfather was buried, but also told me that his mother was in the same grave. The burials were probably either at Croydon Crematorium or Queen's Road Cemetery.

Thank you.  Our local authority does not charge but I know some do.

They didn't charge me when I enquired about 6 years ago, as I said they were very helpful and even emailed me a map of the cemetery with the graves marked. I did my enquiry by email.
