Try Familysearch records for Ireland.
Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.

No what you asked, but here is a reference to him being in Dromore from 1928:

1918 marriage: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FYFM-PMC

Not sure if it still applied during this period but it used to be that R.I.C. men were not allowed to served in their native county or that of their spouse.

A John William Tutty, age 7, in 1901 census-

Hello,
If you have the dates, do you have the references to purchase photocopies of the marriage entries in the registers- 4 euros - from here
Here is the 1918 reference https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FYFM-PMC. The copy certificate info would give you the bride's name and their fathers' names.
I can't see an entry for John Tutty other than Dublin South in 4th quarter 1920.
Regards
Heywood

Might be nothing, but there is a reference (and possibly photograph) in this 1961 Louisiana newspaper to a Mr and Mrs John W. Tutty of Portadown visiting a daughter and her husband, it's a subscription site:

http://www.newspapers.com/newspage/814026/

A 1959 directory shows the following for Thomas Street in Portadown:

116 Tutty, John W.
118 Tutty, Thomas

Following on from gaffy's post here's a partial transcription of the newspaper article-
"The refreshment table   Mrs. Robert L. Rupert, left, of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John W. Tutty, center, of Portadown, North Ireland, and Major Rupert, right, who spent last week end with Mr. and Mrs. ... [be?]came friends while the Martin's were stationed in Nancy, France, and Mr. Martin was a lieutenant in the army. This is the first time the Tuttry's have visited the United States. They especially enjoyed seeing the water skiing while they were in Lake Charles."

John William Tutty that was in R.I.C. (joined 1913) was born in Wicklow 1893 so the 1901 census entry I posted earlier looks like it could be him.

Here is John W. Tutty (mistranscribed as Tulty) in 1911-

To Aghadowey,Heywood,Gaffy, thank you very much for all the information. It is the same man.I have been looking for him for a number of years. It is really good information, thanks very much for your time.I will order the cert from roscommon,do they cover county monaghen?I got the wedding dates from his police record.Should I put the same post on the Co.Cavan site as it says he married again 9/8 1920?,then I can order it.His daughter did marry an American, she was a secretary.I can now try looking for them.I think she worked in France, that would be that connection, very grateful for your help,Tom
