Thank you hallmark,yes you did find the family a few years ago.I am now following his life movements. he ,as far as I can find out served out his police career in Portadown.I only have his police record until 1922.On his record it says he remarried on the 9/8/ 1920to a native of Co. Cavan.I have tried family search but no luck.what Gaffy and Heywood found was new information.The American newspaper article was a great find.When I get the name of his first wife I will post it here.How would I find his police record from North Ireland?Once again,thank you for your help,it means a lot,Tom

John William Tuttys wifes maiden name was Elizabeth Anderson born 1899 from Camaghy,co.Monaghen.tom
