Hi,

I am the granddaughter of Joyce Mari Vivienne Kastrup (nee Shortt). She was born on 8 May 1917 and died on 2 August 1986 and is buried in Windhoek Namibia.
Her father was Clement Shortt and her mother was Gladys Ferreira. My grandmother Joyce was born in Krugersdorp, Johannesburg South Africa. She had only one brother, Lance Alva Shortt (also deceased). She married Wilfred Emil Otto Kastrup
Joyce (my grandmother) has two daughters and five grandchildren. I believe Clement (great grandfather) was of either Irish or Scottish descent.
